Job Description

This position is responsible for planning and assessment that supports the daily direct care and supervision of the children in the Aftercare program and Summer Camp. Must assist the Aftercare/Summer Camp Supervisor in providing quality assurance, client safety, stabilization and skill development. 

Skills / Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum three (3) years of professional experience working with children in school, residential or other related facility; or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Must have 45 hours of DCF Child Care Training. Knowledge, training or advanced course work in human development, psychology, social work or early childhood education preferred. Valid Florida driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required to drive an Agency vehicle used for transporting children to schools, activities and appointments. A Class D license is required to drive a 15 passenger van.
